Heartland Community Groups are a part of the discipleship ministry of the church that exist for building up the body of Christ through gospel-centered relationships in a more intimate setting. (Acts 20:20, Heb. 10:24, Eph. 4:12)

They are to be …
A place of hospitality, where the known, the new, and the stranger are welcomed.
(Matthew 25:35)
A place to recieve the word of God and grow in grace. (2 Peter 3:18, 2 Timothy 3:16)
A place to stir up one another in love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24)
A place to encourage one another to hold fast to the confession of our hope.
(Hebrews 10:23, 25)
A place to speak the truth in love as we grow up in every way into Jesus.
(Ephesians 4:14)
A place for gospel-dependence, knowing that two is better than one and that it is “not good” that we should be alone.
(Ecclesiastes. 4:9-10, Genesis 2:18)
A place of growing in wisdom and through learning and listening.
(Proverbs 12:15)
