Frequently Asked Questions

When do worship services take place?

We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School classes are offered during the fall and spring beginning at 9:00 a.m.

What is the worship service like?

The best way to find out is to come check it out for yourself. You will find our services are a blend between the traditional roots of Presbyterian liturgy and contemporary worship. Our aim is to worship God with excellence so that both Christians and non-Christians might hear and experience the beauty of the gospel. Click here to view one of our worship bulletins

Do you have Sunday School?

Yes. We offer a variety of classes beginning at 9:00 a.m. during the fall and spring. Click the Sunday School link for a list of current and upcoming classes.

What is there for my children?

At Heartland, we believe Children are a vital part of our community and worship. We encourage children to be a part of the weekly worship, but we also offer nursery for 0-2 year-olds and "worshipers in training" for 3 and 4 year-olds during the sermon.

What should I wear?

At Heartland you will find a wide variety of people and dress. Many wear jeans and some love to come in their Sunday best. We encourage you to simply come as you are and not let clothes stop you from worshiping the Lord.

How do I get connected?

The best way to get connected is to complete our "Connection Card". Click here to access the form. One of our pastors will follow up with you and help integrate you into the life of the Church and our pathway to membership.

Are you part of a denomination?

We are part of the Presbyterian Church in America is a group of gospel centered Churches that follow in the footsteps of the reformers. The PCA is made up of over 1,400 congregations which have a strong commitment to evangelism, missionary work at home and abroad, and to Christian education. From its inception, the church has determined its purpose to be “faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.” For more information, go to the website at pcanet.org.
