Who We Are
The mission of Heartland Community Church is to Glorify God and enjoy Him forever as we gratefully worship Him, lovingly disciple His people and eagerly evangelize the lost."

Gratefully Worship...
We believe that human beings were made to worship and that all of life is an act of worship. Therefore, we believe that the Gospel ought to shape the way we worship both corporately and individually. When we gather for corporate worship on Sunday we rehearse the story of grace as told in the Word of God. We do this by singing the Word, praying the Word, proclaiming the Word, and experiencing the Word (i.e. - through the sacraments). Then, throughout the week, we believe God has called us to worship Him as we pursue His calling in our homes and in our community.
Lovingly Disciple...
We believe that we are called to follow Jesus in community with one another. We are called to encourage one another in community with God’s Word as we pursue our Kingdom calling. Having received God’s grace, we are called to pass on His grace to one another in grace-dependent relationships that seek to be honest, vulnerable, gracious and truthful. We do this through in a variety of ways including community groups, men’s studies, women’s studies, and Sunday school.

Eagerly Evangelize...
We believe we are called to invite others to follow Jesus with us. We have the greatest news in the world and it is good news for all. We believe that the church is God’s primary plan for evangelism and making His grace known in the world. Therefore, we believe we are called to be a witness to the grace and truth of Jesus to the world starting in our homes, moving into our neighborhoods, our community, and our marketplace, and expanding to the nations. Like the women at the well, we are called to invite others to “Come, see a Man who told me all that I ever did” (John 4:29).
