Children's Ministry

Heartland Community Church values children and recognizes their important place in the body of Christ. As a church, we strive to assist parents in laying a Biblical foundation in the lives of their children. Our Sunday morning ministries teach children through the Old and New Testament how God called and continues to call His people into a Covenant relationship with Him, how He loves His people with never-ending love, and how He teaches His people to love and follow Him.

On Sunday mornings, Heartland Community Church offers nursery for children birth through age two during both the Sunday School hour and during the worship service. Children ages three through sixth grade can participate in Children's Sunday School.

Jesus is God's Son - Preschoolers

3-5 year old's will follow the life of Jesus from from the manger to the Mount of Transfiguration as they learn about Jesus as God's Son and the promised Savior.

The Biggest Story: Historical Books - Kindergarten through 5th grade

Elementary-aged children will continue their use of the Biggest Story curriculum into the Historical Books of the Old Testament. As we learn about the history of God's people, we will see that God's promises and purposes remain true through moments of great faith and triumph, as well as moments of spectacular disobedience and failure.

Nursery is available for children ages 2 and under during the Sunday school hour and service.

dividerDuring the sermon portion of the worship service, three to five-year-olds can participate in "Worshipers In Training" where they practice worshiping by singing, listening to Bible stories, and memorizing Scripture.
