Evening of Prayer
Every second Sunday of the month
6:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: 457 S. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS 67218Category: Worship | Coordinator: Gary Goodrich
In his book on Prayer, Andrew Murray said this,
"One thing is sure: The Lord wants us to believe most certainly that asking, seeking, and knocking cannot be in vain. Receiving an answer, finding God, and the opening of His heart and home are the certain fruits of prayer."
The grace of prayer is a chance for us to seek, enjoy, and bend our heart to our father in heaven.
Martin Luther said, "To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing."
As we continue to navigate this transition process and look towards a new chapter in the life of Heartland Community Church, we believe we must do so with an incredible amount of prayer. We also believe that as we pray the Lord will show us how we can be a Church that more fully displays the beauty of Jesus and the gospel in our city and world.
Join us on the second Sunday evening each month as we seek our Father together.
Childcare will be provided at no cost and we promise to wrap up no later than 7:00 p.m. Contact Pastor Gary or Gary Gensch with any questions.
Starting September 8th we will be gathering together on the second Sunday each month. We have much to pray for in our body from transition and the calling of a new pastor to the on-going ministries and mission of our Church.
We hope to see you on the second Sunday evening each month.
